Are you feeling the call for a sacred adventure before the fall settles in?
Consider joining me and Alan Alcid (LA-based yoga teacher) with special guest Jaya Lakshmi (an internationally-celebrated yoga musician) for a yoga pilgrimage to Tinos, Greece in September.
Yoga Pilgrimage to the Island of the Divine Mother
with Kate Daughdrill and Alan Alcid
with special musical guest Jaya Lakshmi
September 22-28, 2022
Tinos Island, Aegean Sea, Greece
Overview:
Tinos is one of the most spiritual, authentic islands in Greece. It is the pilgrimage place to the Mother Mary in Greece—and it’s known all over the Aegean that she has a special connection to the island.
The nature is breathtaking and incredibly diverse. We will be going to the island in late September when there are less tourists so it is truly a spiritual travel experience.
We will mediate in natural sacred places, on beautiful beaches, in a cave, and on a mountain top. We will chant together to open our ability to sense the sacred nurturing of the land and the sea all around us.
We will work with vinyasa, pranayama, and meditation each morning to ground our bodies and bring ourselves into a posture of openness and invitation for the day.
We will also journey to many of the traditional Greek villages, eating at local tavernas and talking with lifelong residents about the Greek ways of connecting with and caring for the land and sea. We will swim and hike most days—and will have several sacred meals prepared by local chef/mystic/artists and served in the landscape.
Our aim is to open our hearts and minds to really *feel* the divine mother within us and all around us. We open to the land and sea of Greece as our guide. We give thanks to the sacred island of Tinos for guiding us deeper into this vibration of authenticity, unconditional love, and nurturing.

**Most nature/pilgrimage visits will include a meditation or chanting experience to attune to and more deeply listen to and connect with the place. Our aim is to really honor the feminine within and all around.
**We are beyond blessed to have internationally-respected yoga musician Jaya Lakshmi joining us to provide sonic landscapes and music during practices and meditations. Jaya's music is infused with a devotion to the feminine that will truly heighten our pilgrimage experience.
