Suitable for all levels. Hatha is a potent alignment-oriented practice that emphasizes the forms and actions within yoga postures. Hatha Yoga uses postures (asanas) and stretches in combination with the breath to develop flexibility and relaxation. Hatha Traditional asanas are held in accurate alignment. Emphasis is placed on core strength, flexibility and balance as well as concentration and breath control. This class is based on physical postures, deep breathing, mindfulness and listening to the body.
Class integrates the postures with the breathing, along with relaxation, and meditation to harmonize you on every level. It is a delicious, mindful, and moving class..
This is an ALL LEVELS WELCOME vinyasa flow yoga class. This class will be sure to invigorate the system,detox, stretch and strengthen the body, and put you in a blissful mindset.
Surya Namaskar A is the beginning sequence of poses in the Ashtanga method. Surya is the Sanskrit word for sun. Namaskar means greeting. In English, this sequence of poses is often referred to as Sun Salutations.
Surya Namaskara B extends the flow of first sun salutation A. Here we continue the Ashtanga Yoga practice with five repetitions, each consisting of 19 movements. The sequence can be used in preparation for other postures heating up and stretching the body, bringing the connection between movement and breath.
Sun Salutation C (also known as Surya Namaskar C) is a variation on the traditional 12-posture sequence of flowing movements. This alternative offers an entire body stretch, counterbalancing bending of the spine, and an opening of the heart, shoulders, hips, back, and chest.
Relax, release and rejuvenate your mind and body with this yoga class that is great for all yogis (even those new to yoga).
